The school community of Harold’s Cross N.S. celebrates a week of friendship and explores what friendship means. Among some of the events taking place is the creation of a whole school self-portrait mosaic of all pupils from junior infants to sixth in all the colours of the rainbow celebrating difference and the joy of being “YOU”.
Our pupils in sixth class will have a workshop entitled “Sticks and Stones” which deals with bullying issues and how best to cope. In addition each class teacher will complete a range of activities focusing on how to be a good friend and how to stand up to bullying behaviours.
